Designed in the early years of the 20th century, and located in Monte Estoril, the building - previously named Hotel Itália - was part of a set of facilities which served a touristic resort of choice by the wealthiest people, but also as an ideal haven for many of the aristocratic European families who moved to Portugal, following the World War II.
In a state of neglect, the Hotel Itália (as it was known), located in Monte Estoril, was rehabilitated and became an apartment building. Keeping its original character, a new housing program was recreated. Sought to recover the sense of royalty that the building had lost over the years, developing a cosmopolitan image for the project and recovering the outstanding role that this hotel, now converted into housing, had played in local history.
